Jedan od pokazatelja značaja i savremenosti LAPER-a je izuzetna citiranost objavljenih rezultata (među prvih osam najviše citiranih radova Univerziteta u Novom Sadu tri rada su objavili LAPER članovi, a pet radova su trenutno među 20 najcitiranijih).
